Pancytopenia affects all three major blood cell types, but how do we define its severity?
Slight decrease in red cells, white cells, and platelets. Often asymptomatic and detected during routine blood tests.
Noticeable drop in all three cell lines. May lead to fatigue, infections, and easy bruising. Needs medical evaluation.
Critically low counts. Can result in serious infections, anaemia, or bleeding issues. Requires urgent care.
Doctors assess severity using:
• Haemoglobin (for anaemia) • White blood cell count • Platelet count lower the values, higher the risk.
HealZen personalises protocols depending on your pancytopenia level, aiming to restore healthy cell production from the root.
